I spoke with Nick Bamford today 4/21/2013. I asked him to please confirm our Trail date for 5/11/2013 at Coldwells. I previously had an e mail confirmation from 12/18/2012 stating both are dates 5/11/2013 and 9/22/2013 and Nick said those dates were fine. Nick did state again today the Trail Tournaments were ok. He did say there will be no Tournaments during camping season. I do also have the State DEM permits for both of those dates in hand from Alan Libby. I will keep everyone posted if there are any updates.

The Johnson's Trail tournament is on. We will have to use the small ramp behind the office. I launched there today and there is plenty of water. When you pull into the camp ground and pass the guard shack you will need to keep right and follow that around to the ramp. Ron Bestwick will try and be there early to guide you. That way you are facing the right direction to launch. Once you launch we have to make sure we park in the parking spots and not in any ones campsite. Once the first row is full we need to park the rest on the side with the rest rooms. We all need to do this so we can fish here again. We also have to park the trailer on the hill across from the office not on the beach. He has the sites rented next to the beach. Also going under the Harkney Hill Bridge will be off limits and will be a disqualification. He did not have a problem with us getting there a little early. it will take longer to launch the boats. Anyone that can help guide the boats in would be appreciated.
