Hello Everyone!! Getting to be that time of year. The Bass Bums Spring Open Individual or with Partner on Johnson's Pond is fast approaching. Here is some basic info on the tournament and a link to the web site.

Body of Water: Johnson's Pond Coventry, RI
Launch: Colwell’s Campground (New Owners not sure if the name is changing)
Date: Sunday, April 21, 2013
Time: 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Entry fee: $50 per person; includes lunker ($10 ramp fee is usually charged if you launch at Colwells)
70% payback

Just wanted to let everyone know, the launch at cowells is open for a $10 fee. The bathrooms will not be open for the event. Cut off is 6:30am Sat. Hope to see everyone this Sunday. This is a great opportunity to pre-fish for the state team open the following weekend and the RI BASS Nation trail.

Evening Everyone, Sorry to say we will have to cancel this event due to no water to launch a boat. We tried tonight to launch a 20 ft boat with no luck. It looks like the water is still going down, not sure what is going on with the dam. Hope everyone has a great year and hope things will be better for the next season.
