I just wanted to take a minute to thank and commend the Federation for voting to help the 2 Junior competitors with funds for their trip to Alabama. Though I'm not a family member of either kid, I recently fished the Open Tournament that was also held to help raise funds for their trip. Both young men were extremely gracious and humble for everything that is being done for them. This is a direct influence obviously of how they were raised but also by what they have seen and learned in their short time as members of Federation Clubs and our R.I. Juniors program. This is what it is all about. Our Federation will be in good hands in the years to come because of the leadership and values that we are installing now in our youth. I commend you all.
